The Tampa Bay Society of Photographic Artists, a non-profit organization, announces the "Cleveland Street Project." - a Photographic Art exhibition, graciously sponsored by the Clearwater Downtown Development Board. Eight Tampa Bay fine art photographers were given the opportunity to showcase the multifaceted culture, shops and landmarks of Downtown Clearwater's, Cleveland Street. With the help of the local community and surrounding businesses, the exhibition focuses on Cleveland Street through the eyes and interpretation of our individual photographic artists. The exhibition will run through and in conjunction with Downtown Clearwater's, Jazz Festival but will celebrate its opening day, Wednesday, October 12th at Studio 617 as well as participating shops down Cleveland Street. With this event, the society hopes to engage audiences and attract more people to the area.

"The 'Cleveland Street Project' is another opportunity for the Tampa Bay Society of Photographic Artists to use their cameras in service to their community," commented participating photographic artist, Michael Sheehan.  "We really wanted to enhance the perception that the Bay area, and Clearwater in particular, is both a supportive and great place to live.  In cooperating with the local business's here on Cleveland Street, our artists were able to showcase them and produce a photographic feast. I hope you enjoy the multifaceted exhibition of these artists and support the businesses of Cleveland Street that supported them throughout the process."
